For new applications, a sealing test with the specific film material is recommended to ensure the correct sealing band configuration and proper sealing parameters.

• The full length refers to the total length of the sealing band (excluding length of bend ends, if selected).
• The active length should be as close as possible to the actual sealing length. However, consideration must be given to normal film position tolerances to ensure the seal is not constantly placed in the exact same location.
• E1 and E2 must extend at least 10 mm over the sealing bars on each side. For longer sealing bands, thermal expansion must be taken into consideration when defining the overall length.

When placing an order, the customer is responsible for ensuring that all measurements are correct.
Sealing bands are manufactured according to the dimensions provided by the customer, and a drawing will be attached to the order confirmation.
